4:45 - Arrival | Hotel - The Ritz-Carlton, Washington, D.C., 1150 22nd St NW
6:30 - Dinner at Founding Farmers. It is an 8 minute walk from the hotel and a 3 minute walk to the White House. It’s always an impressive sight the first time you see it! I thought it might be fun to be so close to it on your first night.
Thursday, 6/23/22

Flexible itinerary for 4 hour tour:
Kathleen Bashian will meet you in the lobby of Ritz Carlton at 9:00 am OR at entrance to WW2 Memorial to begin tour
Uber to WW2 Memorial
Visit Vietnam Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Korean Memorial
Visit FDR Memorial
Walk a bit around Tidal Basin to visit MLK Memorial
Uber to American History Museum (highlights of exhibits on American Presidency, First Ladies collection, Star Spangled banner, etc)
Visit National Archives (view Declaration, Constitution, Bill of Rights) (I am a member so we can bypass lines here)
Lunch - TBD - ask Tour Guide for recommendations in the area
Afternoon - Free! You might need some relaxing time after the morning tour or you could stick around the Smithsonian and check out another museum.
Dinner - 6:30pm - Old Ebbitt Grill - amazing steakhouse oozing with DC history (20 minute walk/ 10 minute drive from hotel)
Friday, 6/24/22
Morning - CHOICE:
Arlington National Cemetery/ Iwo Jima- You can Uber there or, it could be fun to jump on a double decker bus to take you there: https://www.bigbustours.com/en/washington-dc/washington-dc-landmarks-arlington-cemetery
***Guards change at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier every half hour.

Museum/ Zoo/ Whatever you guys are feeling and the weather dictates
Lunch - TBD - I would probably head to The Wharf and find a fun, easy spot on the water

6:15pm - Dinner at Bistro du Jour - French restaurant right on the water. The restaurant is a 3 minute walk from the dock and a 15 minute car ride back to the hotel.
